This project focuses on the valorisation of by-products from the extraction of Vert d’Orezza, within a circular economy approach. One of the research directions explores the creation of an inlay table.

It combines Vert d’Orezza stone with local woods, in particular chestnut and walnut, in order to compose a tabletop made from materials sourced from the territory. The table is the result of an assembly of 182 fragments of Vert d’Orezza, combined with chestnut and walnut wood. The whole forms a pattern in which stone and wood interact across the surface of the tabletop.
