Produced for the La Physique Autrement team, this stop-motion films portrays a unique teaching experience : a physics course that steps outside the university walls to reinvent itself in nature.

Inspired by an educational project designed by the team, this course invites students to explore science differently. Over two days, they carry out their own scientific experiments in the forest.

This experience aims to connect physics concepts with current environmental challenges while fostering hands-on learning. The La Physique Autrement team commissioned me to create a film that would capture and narrate this pedagogical approach.

Together, we chose the stop-motion technique, inspired by the handcrafted aesthetic of Michel Gondry. The animation bring the students to life in a miniature world made of cut-out paper.

Produced in one month, the film follows the students' collective journey: from designing their experiments to presenting their discoveries. This short film illustrates a vision of science education that seeks to make physics more accessible and more closely connected to today's climate challenges.
